LEVEL 1 & 2

This gravel adventure is designed for a maximum of 14 participants and is suitable for everyone—from sporty beginners to experienced gravel riders. Thanks to our two guides, you can flexibly switch between different difficulty levels during the tour.

Level 1: Perfect for beginners or those who want to ease into single trails: more asphalt, moderate climbs, and still stunning views.
(Approx. 40–70 km / 1000 m elevation gain per day; optionally less with public transport support.)

Level 2: Ideal for experienced riders and adventurers: longer distances, steeper climbs, and a higher single trail ratio make this route more challenging and varied.
(Approx. 100 km / 1600 m elevation gain per day; more on request.)

New to Gravel or Bikepacking? No Problem! As long as you have a good fitness level, you’re all set! Specifically, you should be able to stay active for several hours a day. Daily stages of 80 kilometers with 1,000 meters of elevation gain should be within your reach. If you’re unsure, just get in touch – we’ll gladly help you assess your fitness level!

Day 1

Engadin—Bregaglia

40 km // ↑ 500 m // ↓ 1600 m
(Level 2 + ca. 20 %)

Day 2

Bregaglia—Valtellina

After breakfast, we pedal through the wild Bregaglia Valley on a unique route that winds through chestnut forests down toward Chiavenna. The temperatures rise as the flora around us becomes increasingly Mediterranean. We head toward Lake Como, where a refreshing swim awaits, before continuing through charming mountain villages and jungle-like forests.

→ 80 km // ↑ 800 m // ↓ 1400 m
(Level 2 + ca. 20 %)

Day 3

Valtellina–Valposchiavo

Today, we experience the authentic Valtellina and its ‘Viticoltura eroica’ (heroic viticulture): We ride through the vineyards and get a firsthand understanding of why winemaking here is considered heroic. The day concludes with a climb into Valposchiavo, passing by the picturesque Lago di Poschiavo, followed by a refreshing beer or a delicious gelato in the charming village center of Poschiavo.

→ 75 km // ↑ 1200 m // ↓ 900 m
Reduction (300 hm) Possible (Level 1)
(Level 2 + ca. 20 %)

Day 4

Valposchiavo—Engadin

Today, the Bernina Pass is on the agenda. As a highlight, we’ll cycle past the glacier and later through idyllic stone pine forests. Want to enjoy the Italian flair in Poschiavo a bit longer and start your day more leisurely? No problem, we’ll pick out the most beautiful sections for you, thanks to the UNESCO Bernina Line.

→ 35 km // ↑ 1400 m // ↓ 700 m
Reduction (1000 hm) Possible (Level 1 & 2)
